Q: |
 |
Does Random Designer support creation or evolution? |
 |
 |
A: |
 |
I really want to address this kindly, but also directly, because I am
convinced that the flawed nature of the question unnecessarily ignites and perpetuates
conflict between science and religion.
First, let’s be very clear: The question itself makes no sense. In Christian circles,
I typically hear it expressed something like this: Do you believe in creation, or do
you believe in Evolution? Such a question is like asking me, “Are you a man or a human?”
Everyone knows the correct answer is “Yes”, or “Both”. In other words, man and human
are not mutually exclusive! The same is true for the question dealing with creation
and evolution. Creation and evolution DO NOT describe alternative realities!
Fortunately, there is good news: One doesn’t have to choose. Reality and religious belief
are fully compatible in Random Design – God’s unexpected, subtle, exquisite, profound,
unrivaled, eloquent, masterful process of creation! Over eons and eons, and continuing
to this very day, God creates using Random Design - the best, and perhaps the only
method capable of successfully accomplishing the enormous tasks of molding, shaping,
and renewing His creation according to His ultimate plan.
So the answer to the question, “Does Random Designer support evolution or creation?” is, Yes!
